Blizzard has released an infographic with details about how much time gamers spent in the Overwatch beta and which characters they played the game with over the same period across every platform the game is coming out for.
According to the statistics, close to 10 million players enjoyed the game from 190 different countries worldwide, with more than 4.9 billion minutes played across 37.6 million matches.
Bastion, who receives a Play of the Game for sitting in a spot and unloading wildly on anyone who happens to run by, was killed over 326 million times. Good. Likewise, most players preferred Soldier: 76, Widowmaker, Reinhardt and Mercy in their respective roles over others. No word on how many times Bastion or that short angry bastard Torbjörn got the Play of the Game.
Overwatch comes out next week on May 24 for PC, Xbox One and PS4. Hanjo and Genji’s backstory was recently given an animated short.
