We’re fast approaching the summer season. Breaks are upon us. Whether you’re getting a break from school or just enjoying some vacation away from the job, you might have some time to enjoy gaming. One of the big events that you might want to keep tabs on is the PlayStation Plus Days of Play event. This event starts tomorrow, May 28, 2025, and will run until June 11, 2025.
Who doesn’t love a good deal? We completely understand that video games are expensive, and they show no signs of dropping prices for new releases. Instead, we’re starting to see new $80 video games hit the marketplace. Whenever we can share a good deal, we’ll do our best to advertise it. That’s why we want to alert you about the Days of Play event.
You might already be familiar with the official PlayStation Days of Play. This is an annual event hosted by Sony, offering sales and community events for a limited time. We don’t have the full breakdown of what games, consoles, and accessories might go on sale. However, there were some slight insights given through the official PlayStation Blog.
There will be new highlights given from Sony throughout this PlayStation Days of Play event. However, outside of just deals, we do know that tournaments will be available for players to compete in and win prizes. One of these tournaments involves NBA 2K25, which is also one of the games unveiled for next month’s PlayStation Plus Monthly Games.
Meanwhile, you’ll find discounts across consoles, accessories, and games. Again, we don’t have the complete breakdown quite yet, but some details were shared regarding the deals you can find. We’ll list them down below, as highlighted from the PlayStation Blog.

- $30 USD off DualSense Edge wireless controller
- $20 USD off Access controller
- $20 USD off DualSense wireless controller
- Various discounts on PS5 games, including Astro Bot, MLB The Show 25, The Last of Us Part II Remastered, and LEGO Horizon Adventures.
