Star Wars fans will be getting a new game unveiled next month. We knew for a little while now that Respawn Entertainment was working on a Star Wars strategy game. However, it’s been a title kept under wraps, with fans waiting to learn what this game will be based around. Fortunately, if you were waiting for this game to be officially revealed, you don’t have much longer to go.
Thanks to Insider Gaming, we’re learning today that the upcoming Star Wars strategy game will be unveiled on April 19, 2025. Respawn Entertainment will publish the game, while development studio Bit Reactor will handle the actual game development. Again, the finer details about what this game will consist of will come during the announcement, which is likely far from the only reveal to happen for Star Wars fans.
That’s because this announcement will be happening at the Star Wars Celebration in Japan. So, hopefully, we’ll have even more Star Wars content to look over beyond the upcoming turn-based tactics game. But all we can do is wait and see if Respawn Entertainment and Bit Reactor have a successful first showing of this game. The strategy game also doesn’t have a release date attached, either. So, we might also learn when the game is set to come out into the marketplace.
In other news regarding Respawn Entertainment, the development studio recently killed off one of the projects that they have been working on. This was attached to the Incubation Team, where news came earlier this month from a developer who was attached to the project. So, more resources might have just gone towards Respawn’s other video game project, which is the successor to their previous Star Wars Jedi: Survivor sequel. However, much like the Star Wars strategy game, we don’t have much of anything about that installment to dwell on.
