The next round of February Nintendo World Championships challenges are up. We’ve shared in the past how the Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition gets a weekly update in the form of a new set of challenges. These challenges will be replaced by a new set next week.

As shown on Nintendo’s news page. Those with active Nintendo Switch Online Subscriptions who own The Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition can now participate in Competition #32. As with all World Championships competitions, there is a week to complete a mixed set of speed-running challenges. This set will be live until the 24th of February, thereafter the next set of challenges will be shared.

Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition is a game that offers 150 challenges from 13 classic NES games. All of these challenges are speed-running-based challenges that sets players against competitors from around the world. If you’d prefer to keep things local you can also compete with other players in the comfort of your own home.

This Week’s Five Challenges:

  • Metroid: Power Grab
  • Kirby’s Adventure: Quick Copy
  • Super Mario Bros.: Lost Levels: Mushzoom 3
  • Kid Icarus: Specknose Spectacle
  • Super Mario Bros.: Lost Levels: Luigi vs 1-1

If you took a run at last week’s challenges – Competition #31, remember to check out the leaderboard. You can check out last week’s top runs and maybe shave a few seconds off of your times this week.

Last Week’s Five Challenges:

  • Super Mario Bros. 3: Super Leaf in the Wind
  • Kid Icarus: Seek & Destroy
  • The Legend of Zelda: Death Mountain Duel
  • Excitebike: Heating Up
  • Super Mario Bros.: Lost Levels

The Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition is a pretty great proposition. There’s something new each week. The game currently costs $30 on the eShop. It’s worth the price when you consider that you can compete alone or with your friends and family at home. If you’re curious about last week’s challenges announcement check it out here.
