Warner Bros. Games President David Haddad Announces His Departure

January 23, 2025 by Dennis Patrick

The successor has yet to be announced.

Variety has revealed that Warner Bros. Games current president has announced his departure. David Haddad will remain at the helm for the next three months. However, we don’t have any names at the moment as to who will step into the role as his successor.

Warner Bros. Discovery Global Streaming and Games CEO and president JB Perrette revealed that this departure was not a surprise. This move was already planned, as David Haddad wanted to take his leave from the company at a lighter period. Overall, this should make his exit from the company an even easier transition for whoever takes the role as president of Warner Bros. Games.

Of course, David Haddad alerted his support for Warner Bros. Games and is excited to see what their future endeavors bring to the marketplace. Meanwhile, this doesn’t appear to be a retirement from David Haddad, as he is looking forward to starting the next chapter of his career. We’ll have to see where David Haddad will end up after he officially departs the Warner Bros. company.

“I am so proud of everything we’ve accomplished together at Warner Bros. Games during my time with the company. It has been an absolute pleasure working on and building our iconic gaming franchises, and I will continue to be an enthusiastic supporter of this talented team’s future endeavors. I look forward to working on the next chapter of my career and will always be grateful for my time with Warner Bros. Games.” – David Haddad

This news also comes not long after it was confirmed that Insomniac Games president Ted Price announced his retirement from the games industry. We already know that the studio will be run by three individuals who will step in to fill Ted’s void.

Again, we’re waiting to see who steps into the role of David Haddad. As for their next game to be released in the marketplace, we know that Monolith Productions is currently working on a Wonder Woman title. Although, we haven’t seen much of this game since it was first teased to the public. The video embedded below shows you the teaser trailer that came out for the game if you have yet to watch it. Hopefully, we’ll learn more about this game before the 2025 calendar officially ends.
