Xbox Game Pass Is Losing These 13 Games This Month

December 3, 2024 by Dennis Patrick

Here’s your last chance to grab these games.

Xbox Game Pass is a solid subscription service. Thanks to cloud gaming support, it’s become more widely available. We know that first-party games will arrive on the subscription service, while a variety of third-party games are added monthly. However, just as new games are added monthly, there are also games being rotated out.

First-party Xbox games will remain on the subscription service unless certain circumstances prevent Xbox Game Pass from keeping the title, which is the case for one of these games on the list. Forza Horizon 4 is one of the games being removed from Xbox Game Pass and all digital storefronts. This removal is due to licensing and agreements with various partners, making the game no longer available for purchase through online storefronts.

We typically see the games being removed from the subscription service unveiled in two waves. But since we’re in the month of December, we’re likely just going to see one wave of games unveiled, along with a list of all games being removed this month in the same announcement. However, it’s worth pointing out that these game removals will be in two batches.

Xbox Game Pass Titles Leaving December 15

  • Amnesia: The Bunker (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Forager (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Forza Horizon 4 (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Rainbow Billy: The Curse of the Leviathan (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Rise of the Tomb Raider (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Tin Hearts (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • The Quarry (Cloud and Console)

Xbox Game Pass Titles Leaving December 31

  • BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Close to the Sun (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Humankind (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Lego 2K Drive (Cloud and Console)
  • McPixel 3 (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Party Animals (Cloud and Console)

While these games will be leaving the subscription service, there are some incentives to try them out. All titles leaving the subscription service are given special discounts to subscribers. You can purchase them for a 20% discount until the games officially leave the service.

That said, several new games are being added to Xbox Game Pass this month. If you haven’t checked out what is coming to the service, thanks to the Xbox Wire, we have the official lineup right here.
