Life is Strange: Double Exposure Trailer Leaves Max Stumped

October 8, 2024 by Dennis Patrick

Who did it?

Who did it? Max Caulfield is striving to find out in yet another dangerous mystery. Life is Strange: Double Exposure is bringing back the franchise’s original protagonist as she attempts to uncover a murder. However, to do so, she’ll need to tap back into her powers once more.

A new trailer dropped today for the upcoming release Life is Strange: Double Exposure. This trailer is all about setting up the storyline that players will slowly uncover. As mentioned, developers at Deck Nine have brought back Max Caulfield. However, we’re fast-forwarding time here a bit, with Max having a new best friend named Safi. One day in the cold of winter, Safi is killed. However, there are no footprints left in the snow or a murder weapon.

Police are stumped as to how this murder was pulled off. Or was it that Safi ended her own life? With no clues, Max is forced to use her time-bending abilities to pull herself into an alternate timeline. You’ll need to find out who was responsible for the murder of Safi, protecting her in this new timeline and stopping another attempt as the killer remains at large.

For fans of the original game, this is likely a quick purchase and it will be interesting to see how the storyline picks up from the choices players made in the first game. We know that this is another episodic journey we’ll get to take on as it set to launch on October 29, 2024. However, those who had pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition will gain access to the first two episodes on October 15, 2024.

When this game launches from the team at Deck Nine, you’ll find it available for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and the Nintendo Switch platforms. In the meantime, you can view the latest trailer embedded below.
