Enotria: The Last Song Devs Says Microsoft Has Apologized

September 4, 2024 by Dennis Patrick

Microsoft is working to help the team bring the game onto Xbox.

Update:

The development team has since released a statement on X confirming that they are working with the Xbox team to deliver this game on the platform.

Maskless Ones, thanks to @XboxP3 and our amazing community, we’re now in direct contact with the Xbox Team. We’re excited to work on bringing Enotria: The Last Song to Xbox ASAP! pic.twitter.com/D5N6hPrETi

This week, we were surprised to hear about a delay from Enotria: The Last Song. This upcoming game was set to launch on September 19, 2024, so a delayed announcement this close to its release was a bummer for fans waiting for the game. However, it was confirmed that this delay was only targeting the Xbox platform. After the initial announcement came out, the team confirmed that the reason for this delay was Microsoft.

The team took to X and revealed that they had tried to reach out to Microsoft for help ensuring the game was ready for submission. But after months of waiting for a reply, the team was ultimately forced to delay the platform. They went on to say that they wished there was a dedicated account manager to help out with the issue so this problem wouldn’t exist.

We believe that Xbox is blessed with a huge gaming community and we would love to release Enotria on your platform as fast as possible, as we spent a lot of money and resources to make it happen, but this task is nearly impossible with Microsoft taking months to reply to us when…

Since that X post came out, Microsoft has finally reached out. Thanks to a report from Insider Gaming, we’re finding out that the developers over at Jyamma Games have confirmed Microsoft contacted the team and apologized for the situation. They are now working to solve everything as soon as possible. So, it could mean that we’ll finally get a release confirmation shortly on the Xbox platform.

Of course, it might still be that we’ll have to see Enotria: The Last Song come out into the marketplace on September 19, 2024, without making its way onto the Xbox platform. Still, we know that even if an Xbox version is not ready for the launch date, you’ll still have access to the game on PC and PlayStation 5 platforms. In the meantime, you can view a trailer for the game in the video embedded below.
