Dead by Daylight July Roadmap Revealed

July 3, 2024 by Carley Garcia

Players have heaps to look forward to over the next few weeks.

The asymmetrical horror title Dead by Daylight has revealed a packed July roadmap on X, bringing with it a new crossover, new collections, and a new game mode. Additionally, the developers are teasing a live stream on July 16, which aims to provide more details about the upcoming 2v8 game mode ahead of the mode’s release on July 25.

On July 4, fans can look forward to the new Waterfront Massacre collection. In Week 2, the highly anticipated Tomb Raider crossover will begin, with Lara Croft being added as a survivor. Not surprisingly, the legendary game heroine will come with the Hardened, Finesse, and Specialist perks. Another archive with “Mythic” will also appear.

Week 3 will bring the aforementioned 2v8 game mode along with a Blood and Bones collection on July 25. To finish the month, Week 4 will introduce the Forgotten Memory collection on July 20.

In May, rumors began swirling that Norman Reedus would appear in Dead by Daylight sometime in the future after the actor followed the game’s official X account.

Fans of the title are also excited for the upcoming single-player cinematic title The Casting of Frank Stone, a game set in the same universe as Dead by Daylight. The new IP is still aiming for a 2024 release.

“It is important that anyone can enjoy The Casting of Frank Stone, not just those steeped in Dead by Daylight or those who play Supermassive Games. If you’re not already a Dead by Daylight fan, you are going to enjoy this game. And if you love Dead by Daylight, this will take you deeper into that world and the Entity’s Realm,” said the game’s Creative Director Steve Goss.

The horror title has attracted over 60 million players since it was originally released for the PC in 2016.
