Fortnite’s Festival Finally Has Keyboard and Mouse Support

May 27, 2024 by Faith Lane

Guitar controller?? Keyboard and mouse might be the way to go.

Fortnite has a pretty interesting mode that is called Fortnite Festival where players are basically introduced into a Guitar Hero type mode within Fortnite where players will see their avatar jamming out to all kinds of different songs selected by the player. New guitars are also avaliable within the battle pass as well which makes it easy to get cosmetics for it as well. However, there is a new key feature that was added to the game during the new update.

The new update released some new improvements for this mode in Fortnite to where now players can use a controller and guitar from games like Guitar Hero but now they can also use keyboard and mouse as well. The latest update also added new improvements for Pro Lead and Pro Bass parts of songs as well which was a part of Season 3 according to GameSpot. The Pro parts of the mode used to only require one of those guitar controllers, but now players can use a keyboard and mouse.

This will helpful make it easier and also more playable for some players. Especially since getting a guitar controller is more expensive than some might think. This is one of the neat features that was introduced during the brand new Wrecked season which is inspired by Mad Max.

There is still lots ahead for Fortnite as players will see a collaboration with Fallout take place which is avaliable later on within the battle pass as well as a collaborative with Fall Guys happening later next month. Fortnite is available for free on all platforms.
