Atlus has been busy on lots of things recently, and even if some of those things aren’t exactly what fans want, you can’t deny that they’re doing good with what they are working on. Case in point: the Persona 3 Reload title that is coming out early next year has gotten many fans talking. The third entry in this RPG franchise was the one that both saved the series and saved Atlus. It was where many of the key elements and gameplay features that became staples later on started out. Since its announcement, Atlus has been dropping tons of details to prepare players for the remake.
We’ve already seen several character trailers, but now, Atlus has done an info dump that Persona Central picked up, and it gives new insights into the main characters, battle outfits, social links, and more.
For example, there will be new outfits in the game for your “SEES” crew to wear as you enter the realm of Tartarus during the “Dark Hour.” So you’ll have some new options to look pretty fly as you take on monsters. They showed off the ones for the main protagonist, Yukari and Junpei, as well as outlining their Personas that you can use in battle.
Like in the future titles, your “Social Attributes” are something you’ll build up in the game by doing various activities around the city you’re in. The more you do, the better you’ll become in academics, charm, and courage. That’s important because you’ll need to be high in certain stats if you want to dive into certain things or advance your Social Links with other characters. So don’t just blaze through the days. Make each one count!
Something a bit unique to Persona 3 Reload is the dormitory. You can hang out with your friends via your dorm and participate in activities with them. Doing so will unlock skills for them to use, advance your social links, and more. Something in said dorm you can use to your advantage is the computer. Through it, you can learn more skills that you can wield in battle.
Going back to the social links, they’ve been updated in the game so that they have new visuals to partake in, and they’re fully voiced.
So, as you can see, Atlus has gone into great detail to maintain what they put in the original title while also ensuring that gamers know that things have been improved. The game arrives on February 2nd.
