Gamers Put First Hour Of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Online!

October 12, 2023 by Todd Black

And…it’s gone.

If you’ve ever wondered just how much fans eagerly await Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, we have an answer for you. Because as you all know by now, we’re just over a week away from the game’s launch. However, fans on Reddit have decided that this is too long to wait for something to come out. So what did they do? Well, they were able to capture the first hour of the game somehow, and they put it online. And then they were copyright-struck, so they reuploaded it somewhere else! And…then they were struck down again. It’s a very vicious cycle, but you can applaud their effort, at least!

We aren’t going to show you the video for obvious reasons, but this is another good reminder that leaks and spoilers like these are going to be coming out hot and heavy over the next week due to the anticipation for the game. Some of the leaks that we’ve seen through the grapevine include reveals of characters who haven’t been shown in the other trailers and some key details to the story that you likely won’t want spoiled. So do yourself a favor and mute certain posts on social media, or don’t take a look at articles that highlight certain leaked/spoiled images or plot threads so you can enjoy the full experience when the game arrives.

After all, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has been in the works for a while, and Insomniac Games has been very proud of all the work that they’ve done in it. For example, they noted in a previous interview that they called the game what they did with the simple “2” moniker because they wanted it to feel like two Spider-Men were needed to solve the problems that New York City was about to have. Plus, they wanted the game to feel bigger than before, so they added more boroughs to it.

That doesn’t even touch upon the personal journeys that characters like Peter Parker, Miles Morales, and Mary Jane Watson will go through as they work through the game’s plot. Each of them will be challenged mentally and emotionally, and they’ll need to rely on one another to get through everything.

Plus, and this is important, it’s a superhero game! That means there’s going to be plenty of action featuring Kraven the Hunter, The Lizard, the Venom symbiote, and more. So why ruin part of this by getting spoiled on some of the details? The game comes out on October 20th, so just wait a little longer!
