Bungie Showcases Destiny Changes During Final Livestream

April 6, 2016 by Dennis Patrick

Bungie talks PVP, Crucible, and Trials of Osiris changes coming to Destiny.

Destiny
Bungie has held their last livestream event to showcase what’s in store for Destiny with this months update. The final preview event went over various changes coming to PVP, the Iron Banner, and Trials of Osiris. Here’s a recap of the livestream and the press assets are featured in the gallery down below.

For starters, the revive system has been altered in which players will have to be closer to their teammate that they are attempting to revive. Additionally, while reviving, overshields will not be as strong, making it a bit more of challenge in rescuing friends during PvP matches.

The Crucible also saw some changes with the update. Sterling treasure boxes can now be obtained by playing Crucible matches and will come with one to three items. Overall, the Crucible is going to be more rewarding with the update to include more legendary rewards.

Legendary engrams were tossed out from the Iron Banner events, but will now guarantee a 320 artifact, a rank 3 ghost, along with potentially a rank 5 335 packages.

Destiny will also see some slight changes to classes and the same can be said for the various weapons featured in the game currently. Lastly, the Trials of Osiris will drop 335 gear and will also grant players with rewards of drops up to level 330 if they complete bounties.
