Destiny 2: Lightfall Trailer Highlights Neomuna Environment

January 17, 2023 by Dennis Patrick

Check out the footage right here.

Destiny 2 players are gearing up for the next significant video game expansion. Lightfall is nearly upon us, and if you are interested in any of the marketing materials Bungie releases for the title, then you’re in luck. Today a new video upload has gone live to highlight Neomuna. With a call for help in protecting the environment and its inhabitants, players will be exploring some thrilling new areas. This trailer might be a bit brief, but it at least gives you a bit more insight into what we can expect with the expansion does release this coming month.

Within the video footage, we’re getting an early look at the city of Neomuna. This once secret advanced location flourished but is now under threat. Players will be fighting off the Shadow Legion as they attempt to overthrow the attempt in Neomuna’s annihilation. Again, the footage will highlight some of the locations you’ll be visiting when Destiny 2: Lightfall expansion hits the marketplace next month. If you haven’t been keeping tabs on this expansion, then we have you covered. This is another story chapter to dive into, and we can give you a brief premise.

In the upcoming Destiny 2: Lightfall story, players are dealing with the Shadow Legion, an army led by Emperor Calus. This prompts your discovery of Neomuna, the city found on Neptune, which is also dealing with the Shadow Legion. It might be an uphill battle, but you’ll at least have some help with a group called Cloud Striders, which are defenders of Neomuna. Players will get to dive into this expansion when it launches on February 28, 2023.

Of course, with all that said, if you’re feeling the content of Destiny 2 is not up to expectations as of late, you might be in luck. Last month, Joe Blackburn, the game director behind Destiny 2, reached out to fans on Twitter. According to Joe, there is a new strive to take more creative risks for seasonal progression. But before we actually start seeing these creative risks, the team has to get through some of the already completed seasonal content for Destiny 2. So the new creative risks will likely come out for the game later on in the year.

Again, in the meantime, you can check out the Destiny 2: Lightfall expansion when it launches into the marketplace on February 28, 2023.
