Step into a mad, sublime and unforgiving world
Atomic Heart takes you to the 1950s, in an alternate history where servant robots became a reality. Humans and their robots seem to live in harmony, but when a sudden rebellion strikes, machines and other shrouded experiments have to be stopped from taking over…
That’s when you come in, engaging in visceral, spectacular combat against AI on the brink of madness, unsightly mutants and bloodthirsty machines that roam the lands, searching for prey. Adapt your fighting style, combine your skills and resources, use the environment and upgrade your equipment to overcome challenges and eradicate the evil.
Atomic Heart is an adventure first-person shooter, events of which unfolds in an alternate universe during the high noon of the Soviet Union. The principal character of the game is a special agent P-3, who after an unsuccessful landing on enterprise “3826” is trying to figure out what went wrong.
What lies behind the dream?
The history of the alternative reality of the 1950s originates from the development of robotics and advanced technology during the Second World War. The gaming world is not so far from the ideals that humanity is fighting for today. A happy society, the supremacy of science, ideal cities with sun-drenched green parks and squares, automation of everyday life, and the desire to reach the stars. We can get all this in the near future. But shall we look at the underside of an ideal world? Could something like this have already happened? And what can it lead to?
Fierce Fighting
You will have to fight a lot. Choose your best tactics for each unique opponent, use everything that “comes to hand” – starting with the special capabilities of a combat glove and ending with heavy weapons of mass destruction. Combine your defensive capabilities and attacking skills, interact with the environment, and keep an eye on the enemy – it’s the only way to win. A wide range of upgrades for all firearms and melee weapons will allow you to tear to pieces anyone who gets in your way. It’s going to hurt!
Atomic Heart is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, on February 21, 2023.
