Mass Effect Andromeda Studio Hires Former Naughty Dog Cinematics Director

Veteran cinematics director Tal Peleg has announced a move of companies, from Sony second party studio Naughty Dog to Electronics Arts studio Bioware Austin.

Veteran cinematics director Tal Peleg has announced a move of companies, from Sony second party studio Naughty Dog to Electronics Arts studio Bioware Austin.

Under Naughty Dog, Peleg worked on The Last of Us and the Uncharted games. Before Peleg joined Naughty Dog in 2011, he already worked under Electronic Arts, helping create animations for Dead Space 2 with Visceral Games. His work in CG animation goes as far back as 2002.

Peleg also dropped hints about development of these games. He confirms that Uncharted 4 is finishing up development, and he says that fans will be in for a treat. As Peleg joins Bioware Austin, he is slated to help work on the studio’s current project, Mass Effect Andromeda.

EA just confirmed that Mass Effect Andromeda will be released in Q1 2017, for PC, PlayStation 4, and XBox One. Uncharted 4 A Thief’s End will be released on May 20, 2016, worldwide exclusively on PlayStation 4. Both games have seen some crew changes through the years.
