Hey guys, someone dug up the opening to everyone’s favourite Saturday morning Elder Scrolls cartoon!
I remember watching the Dovahkids as a young, eager, bright eyed child. I’d get up extra early to catch it before Saturday morning Watchmen, and I’d even write down the ‘Dovah Word of the day’ at the end of each episode – I was pretty much the coolest kid on my block. My favourite episodes were the ones where the ginger Breton kid got in trouble with the Nords for being an obnoxious ginger Breton kid. I just hated that kid so much.
This flash cartoon was actually animated by the very talented Harry Partridge, who’s popular works include Saturday Morning Watchmen, Cole Phelps: Super Cop and the entirely relevant Skryim trailer cartoon, which I think is a fairly accurate depiction of everyone’s reaction to the Skyrim trailer ever.
No, but seriously, just look at that ginger Breton kid. Does he make anyone else horribly angry?
