One Piece Odyssey Water 7 Gameplay Trailer Brings the Action

November 8, 2022 by Jordan Biazzo

Welcome back to Water 7!

Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for their highly anticipated anime-based game — One Piece Odyssey. The new gameplay trailer showcases a ton of great new footage and the game is looking pretty awesome. As we slowly approach the release date of the game, January 13th worldwide, we should expect to see the publisher release more promotional footage for the game,

The newest trailer — Water 7, brings fans back to one of the icnoinc locations the Staw Hat Pirates explored. The whole plot of the game is for the Straw Hat Pirates to regain their powers, which have seemingly vanished. This causes the crew to revisit iconic locations and Water 7 seems to be on the list. The two minute long gameplay trailer showcases our heroes in action, some plot details, and ton of great explorable landscapes.

Check out the brand new One Piece Odyssey Water 7 gameplay trailer down below:

If you haven’t heard about One Piece Odyssey yet, well it’s a new anime-based game from developer Bandai Namco. Players will literally jump into the One Piece world and explore the legendary lost island Waford. Join Luffy, Nami, and the whole gang in exploring the mysterious island. However, shortly after arriving on the island, the crew loses their powers. This sets off a train of events that will cause our adventure to set in motion. Luffy and the crew will now scour the island for these little cubes that have their powers locked away, you will need to find them all if you want to recover your power. However, it won’t be so easy as you should expect a ton of adversaries along the way.

We have learned so much about the game in the past couple of months. We saw a ton of great gameplay showcasing the beloved characters in action, the overall plot the gang is on, and much more cool little features sprinkled within. The previous trailer for One Piece Odyssey — Alibasta, had fans intrigued.

In the previous trailer, Luffy and co. are curious about what this all means regarding suddenly being in Alabasta. Not only do they want to see Vivi again, but they also want to know if past events can change. A plot point that many fans of the anime will also want to know. While we don’t get that answer in the trailer, we see many intriguing things. Such as being able to control the different Straw Hat Pirates as they move around the kingdoms they’re in. Sanji, Roronoro Zoa, Nico Robin, and more will be controllable so that you can become your favorite Straw Hat Pirate! Make sure to check out the Alibasta trailer right here!

One Piece Odyssey is set to release for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One and PC on January 13th, 2023. Are you excited about the upcoming anime game? Let us know in the comments below!
