The 2016 DICE Summit served as a gathering of the world’s most important game developers as well as an event to honor last year’s most influential video games.
Fallout 4, Bethesda’s post-apocalyptic role-playing game, claimed the top spot as the Game of the Year. It also received awards for Outstanding Achievement in Game Direction and Role-Playing/Massively Multiplayer Game of the Year. Fallout 4 went up against Bloodborne, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
Meanwhile, The Witcher 3 took the prize for Outstanding Achievement in Game Design.
Rise of the Tomb Raider received an award for Outstanding Achievement in Character for its main character, Lara Croft. The award for Action Game of the Year went to Star Wars Battlefront.
