Square Enix has a new game planned for release on the PS Vita called Legion of Hell, which is slated to hit Japanese stores on December 17. In Legion of Hell, players take on the role of an archdemon (Satan!) in control of an army of goblins.
In this real-time strategy game, the goblins display absolute obedience to Satan, and can be manipulated to attack enemies with the R button. The game uses a unique command system allowing players to select warriors with the circle button, spearmen with the triangle, and witches with the square. The L button allows your goblin formation to use a variety of special abilities. When in trouble, hit X for a tactical retreat.
Lone goblins are scattered throughout the stage, so you'll have to find them and add them to your army.
Additionally, you possess the ability to buff and heal your army through a rhythm game. The effectiveness of the spells you cast are dependent on how well you manage to time your presses. The rhythm game is controlled as a musical instrument using the PS Vita's back touchpad.
