Sony has announced that they'll be offering hardcore early adopters a chance to get their hands on the company's new handheld a full week before everyone else, courtesy of the PS Vita First Edition Bundle.
The bundle comes packaged with the system, a limited edition carrying case, a 4GB memory card, and a copy of Little Deviants. Pricing varies by region, as the US bundle comes packed with the pricier, 3G-compatible model, while the Canadian equivalent includes the cheaper, Wi-Fi only model. That means those in the States will have to plop down $349 for the benefit of early access, while their neighbors to the north will need to shell out $299.
While Sony hasn't announced finalized pricing for games and memory cards in the West, it looks like you'll be getting a minor price break over purchasing each item separately.
Of course, the biggest draw is ultimately the street cred that comes from getting a Vita well before anyone else, as the bundle goes on sale February 14, while everyone else will need to wait until February 22.
