The last-gen version of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 will arrive on PS3 tomorrow, December 15, but only in the United States, as posted on the PlayStation Blog. IGN asked Activision whether they would bring the game to the UK, either on the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3, and received this response: “Activision will not be releasing Tony Hawk’s 5 in the UK on those platforms at this time.”
Activision decided to delay the last-gen version of the game back in October, in order to clear time for fixes and content updates for the current-gen versions. "We are working closely with our developers to address the issues identified by our community. Our development resources are fully focused on fixes and content updates for PS4 and Xbox One, so we have decided to delay the release of THPS5 on PS3 and X360,” Activision said at the time.
The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game were almost universally negatively received by critics in September. There were enough issues, as we discussed in our Before You Buy video for the title, that Activision promised fixes and free DLC for players.
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5 is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PlayStation 3.
