Despite the fact that Nintendo's stock isn't doing so well of late, EA's support for the console was made clear by Peter Moore this week. Speaking to Reuters, Moore said that it doesn't seem as if anything is "off target" with the console, and he praised Nintendo's decision to use a tablet as a controller.
“No one thinks its going to replace an iPad 2 but it is playing into what a consumer feels comfortable with,” he explains.
Moore goes further by pledging EA's support and commitment to the console, which he'll be checking in on this week over at Nintendo's Kyoto headquarters. “Our teams are working on it around the world. Our key franchises will be there. We’ve made that commitment to Nintendo,” he reassures us.
Most gamers will be happy to have the EA's titles available on the Wii U, but I'm sure they'd be even happier if the Wii U wasn't getting most of those key franchises way later than the other consoles will be.
