According to a trademark office record, Chivalry developer Torn Banner has trademarked the phrase “MIRAGE: ARCANE WARFARE.” Chivalry: Medieval Warfare launched in 2012, but since then there has been little news about subsequent games from Torn Banner. It looks like there will be another game after all.
It’s no surprise, given how popular Medieval Warfare was. In just nine months, the game sold 1.2 million units digitally and became a worldwide success. In the US alone, it sold nearly 100,000 units in that short timeframe.
For those unfamiliar with the game, it’s a melee combat game designed to feel like 300, Gladiator, or Braveheart. Players arm themselves with a variety of weapons and test out their prowess in combat.
