Microsoft has added microtransactions to Forza Motorsport 6 in the form of 'Tokens', which can be used to purchase cars, upgrades, and mod packs.
Token pack prices range from $2.99 to $99.99 on the Xbox store. One Token is equal to 500 in-game Credits and there's apparently a 100 Token pack available for $0.99 but it isn't listed on the Xbox website, the $2.99 pack offers 325 Tokens.
The full list of Token packs and their prices is listed below:
- 100 Tokens – $0.99
- 325 Tokens – $2.99
- 1,250 Tokens – $9.99
- 2,700 Tokens – $19.99
- 8,000 Tokens – $49.99
- 20,000 Tokens – $99.99
Microtransactions were a cause of much fan anger in Forza 5 so it's somewhat surprising to see them re-introduced in Forza 6 considering the game didn't launch with them.
Forza Motorsport 6 is available for Xbox One now. Do you think this undermines the game or isn't a big deal? Let us know in the comments.
