Fallout 4’s S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Video Series Looks at Intelligence

October 7, 2015 by Stephen Daly

Have you got Wasteland smarts?

Bethesda has released the latest in its S.P.E.C.I.A.L. video series for Fallout 4, with this one focusing on 'I' for Intelligence.

By putting points into Intelligence you adapt more quickly to the world around you and unlock additional options for dealing with scientific issues in quests, including specific dialogue options. In the early Fallout games, having low intelligence meant your character couldn't speak, communicating instead in a series of grunts.

Previously issued videos have looked as Strength, Perception, Endurance, and Charisma. The last two in the series will be Agility and Luck.

More details on Fallout 4's S.P.E.C.I.A.L. and perks character system are available here.

Fallout 4 launches November 10th for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
