Fallout 4: Find Out What Makes You S.P.E.C.I.A.L: Perception

September 16, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

The second in a series of Fallout 4 videos reveals what Perception means to you in the game.

Following the release of the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. video from Bethesda showcasing Fallout 4's Strength attribute last week, Bethesda has released a new video this week covering Perception.

This chapter focuses on Perception to help you better understand how to deal with immediate threats in the game's desolate environment.

The Fallout Wiki describes Perception as the following, at least with regards to Fallout 3: "Perception determines how far away enemies can be detected on the compass (enemies show as red bars). When playing with a high Perception, it is possible to "sense" the enemies even before they come into view."

Set to release worldwide on November 10, 2015 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, Fallout 4 is the latest title in the long-running series of post-nuclear role-playing games.
