For fans of My Hero Academia, the wait for Season 6 is going to feel like an incredibly long one. Mainly because Season 5 didn’t deliver all that people wanted in terms of the action, story, and more. But Season 6 is aiming to be a game-changer like the earlier seasons as the show will feature a “War Arc” between the Pro-Heroes (and the students of UA Academy) and the Paranormal Liberation Front. Based on what happens in the manga…you can expected some big battles, and some big casualties.
While we still have only gotten glimpses animation wise for Season 6, yesterday a character poster was put up on Twitter, and as you can see above, it features many of the key characters from Class 1-B, including Deku, Bakugo, Todoroki, as well as Uchaco and Tenya.
Now, why only these characters? It’s hard to say, it’s possible that we’ll get another poster featuring other characters like All Might or Shigaraki and so on, it just depends on how they’re going to break things down in terms of building up the hype for the new season.
Speaking of hype, if you’re hoping to get more teases soon, you might just get your wish. There is going to be an expo later in the Summer where fans (in Japan) will get to see the first episode of Season 6, there are also plans for some “original features” not tied to Season 6 to be aired before and after the season comes around.
It also should be noted that My Hero Academia in terms of its manga is in its “final arc”, and due to that, one can only wonder just how many more seasons the anime has to go. Hopefully we’ll be able to enjoy each one as they come. The sixth season is scheduled to debut this fall.
