PUBG Mobile publisher Tencent America has decided to do a very random collaboration with Butterfinger (a candy bar owned previously owned by Nestle and now by the Nutella Godfathers, Ferrero) Adding an extra layer of sweet caramel chocolate to the mobile shooter. Yum yum.
Three new Butterfinger-themed in-game items will be available between now and August 31. But in order to snag the items, you’ll have to get up off your lazy bum and purchase some Butterfingers. Not too many though, too much candy is bad! You’ll need to either grab either a bag of Fun-sized Butterfingers or two regular bars. Quest accepted?
The three in-game items are as follows:
- First qualified submission: Butterfinger-branded parachute
- Second qualified submission: Butterfinger car decal
- Third qualified submission: Butterfinger-themed cosmetic set
In addition to the skins, there will be a limited-time-only login challenge. Login in seven days consecutively to gain other unique rewards.
In other PUBG news, earlier this year a group of hackers were found guilty in German and US federal courts. The hackers have been forced to pay 10 Million Dollars in fines. The fines will fund anti-cheat technology in the game.
