Hailing from the Blizzard’s Warcraft universe, the half orc and half ogre Rexxar has joined the roster of Heroes of the Storm, Blizzard’s take on the multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) genre.
Rexxar is a hunter who “helped the Horde find a permanent home in Durotar.” As a hunter, Rexxar is aided by animal companions, like his bear Misha. Rexxar’s abilities in Heroes of the Storm follow that of a ranged damage-dealer, but Rexxar also has the ability to take lots of damage, or rather, his pet, Misha, does.
In other Heroes of the Storm news, Blizzard will be adding additional features to the player reporting function in the game. The function is meant to allow players to police other players that are acting in an unsportsmanlike manner, such as being away from their keyboard for an extended period of time or being abusive to other players using the in-game chat function.
Heroes of the Storm recently concluded a limited time event called Eternal Conflict that brought with it Diablo-themed maps, achievements, unlockables, and more.
