“Endgame Level Surprises” Await Fans In Doctor Strange Sequel

April 13, 2022 by Todd Black

What madness awaits?

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

When it comes to hyping up a movie, there are a lot of ways to go and do it. But when it’s a superhero movie, they’ve got to be careful because they don’t want anything spoiled. Right Tom Holland? Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is a film that has been in the works for some time and has gone through many reshoots as a result. But now, we’re just a few weeks away from its release and fans are needless to say excited.

But, some are apparently getting inside information about just how grand a scale the movie is going to be. Check out a letter that insider John Campea claims to have gotten about the film:

“Yesterday, I got an email. What I was basically told was this. I cannot say who this is from. But it [said], ‘Yeah, they’re not going to be screening Doctor Strange 2 during CinemaCon.’ Sorry to tell everybody that, it’s guaranteed that they are not going to show Doctor Strange 2 during CinemaCon,” the YouTuber said

He added, “In the email, they went on to say this, they said, ‘There’s more security [for this movie] blah blah blah.’ But the key line was this: ‘There are more big surprises in Doctor Strange 2 than in Infinity War, Endgame, and Spider-Man: No Way Home combined.'”

So yeah, that’s some pretty big things to say. Not the least of which was that the set of movies named had plenty of surprises. Including Infinity War going through with “the snap”, the “five years later” time jump in Endgame, and various key moments of No Way Home like Aunt May’s death.

Granted, the upcoming movie does have a leg up on the others by having access to the entire Marvel Multiverse (for better and for worse) but how that’ll play out…is unclear.

We’ll find out on May 6th though.
