August 26, 2015 by Stephen Daly

Up to four players supported with three hours of content.

Techland has released a free co-op demo of its open world zombie game Dying Light for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

The demo is set in the slums area of the city of Harran and offers three hours of content, include a story quest chains, several side quests, challenges, and random encounters. Key Dying Light features such as the parkour and crafting systems and day and night cycle are all included.

Online co-op player for up to four players is also supported.

“With the demand for Dying Light still high after more than half a year on the market, we wondered what else we could do to help players decide which game to buy'," producer Tymon SmektaÅ‚a commented in a press release. "Then we thought: demoes were pretty much a standard in the previous generation, but suddenly they’ve become few and far between. So we decided to use some of our resources to release a demo now and let everyone experience our game first-hand.”

Techland is currently developing The Following DLC, which adds vehicles and an expansive new area to the game. You can check out gameplay of add-on here.
