Pre-Order Just Cause 3, Win an Island

August 25, 2015 by Stephen Daly

Yes, an actual real island.

Just Cause 3 fans could win their very own island by pre-ordering the Day 1 Edition of the game.

In order to be eligible to win the island, you'll need to earn the highest number of Chaos Points via the game's array of weapons, bombs, vehicles, and tools including the grapploing hook.

You'll earn more points for “creative and inventive” mayhem, with the top scorer winning the island.

Just Cause 3's Win an Island Competition kicks off on the game's release day, December 1st, and will run until February 29th, 2016.

The competition is open to players in the US (excluding Puerto Rico), Canada (excluding Quebec), Mexico, and Chile who input the code received for pre-ordering the game's Day 1 Edition on PS4 or Xbox One.

Square Enix describes the prize as follows: “The island is valued at up to $50,000 or $50,000 cash and the location of island is to be determined by the sponsor. All taxes and fees associated with purchasing and obtaining of island (including but not limited to attorney’s fees, escrow, and closing costs) are the responsibility of the Winner. Sponsor does not guarantee the island to be inhabitable, developed or reachable by any means other than a boat.”

Other details and rules relating to the competition can be found on the game's website.
