In a few weeks PAX Prime will be upon us and the masses will be awash in clever new indie titles to stimulate the imagination. Among the newest announced games is Kathy Rain, a pixel art adventure title set in the 90s. It stars the titular heroine on a return trip to her rural home as she unravels a mystery surrounding her estranged and now deceased grandfather. In development by Clifftop Games, a mostly one-man endeavor of Swedish programmer Joel Staaf Hästö, Kathy Rain is expected for Windows, Mac, and Linux at an as yet unannounced date.
