Fallout 4 was shown behind closed doors at Gamescom 2015, which took place last week in Germany. The demonstration follows news about why Bethesda isn't putting a level cap in the game.
One sneaky bastard managed to capture some on-screen footage of the Bethesda demonstration, which also included showing off some new features in the iOS/Android game Fallout Shelter.
The whole presentation was shown to the press entirely in German, so unless you know the language, you can probably keep the whole thing muted.
The Fallout 4 demonstration shows off some first-person action in which the protagonist follows Dogmeat around into a town where they make short work of some ghouls.
There's even a bit where the player accesses a computer terminal and begins hacking it. The hacking minigame appears to be the same as it was in Fallout 3. Additionally, we get to see the lockpicking minigame in action, which also looks the same as it was in Fallout 3.
We can probably expect to see a web version of the demonstration/preview in the coming weeks. In the meantime, check out the video below.
The game comes out on November 10 for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
