The survival horror game originally launched on PS5 and PC last August, making its way to the Xbox Series X/S in September 2021.

For those unfamiliar with Tormented Souls, PQube has said about the game, “As Caroline Walker, explore the terrifying halls of an abandoned mansion on the hunt for missing twin girls – but you are not alone. Solve puzzles and face sinister enemies in deadly combat in this relentless nightmare. Can you confront your fears and uncover the secrets of Winterlake… or will you die trying?”

Inspired by classic franchises such as Resident Evil and Alone in the Dark, Tormented Souls offers players “Classic gameplay, with a modern control scheme and a dynamic camera (for a new generation),” the ability to “engage in deadly combat,” “scavenge essential resources & tools and decipher clues,” and a lot more.

Tormented Souls has gamers “face terrifying monsters.” According to developers, “It doesn’t take long to learn that you aren’t alone in Winterlake – the previous inhabitants’ creations are loose and roaming the hallways. From terrifying wheelchair-bound atrocities to chilling disemboweled crawlers, you’ll have to keep your wits about you at all times. There are also darker threats at play – quite literally. Early on, you are warned not to let the shadows embrace you…”

While next-gen and PC gamers already have access to Tormented Souls, the game will make its way to the PS4 and Xbox One on February 25 and Nintendo Switch on April 14.
