Flying Wild Hog and publisher Devolver Digital have announced today that the studio's upcoming game, Shadow Warrior 2, a sequel to the first Shadow Warrior in case that isn't obvious, is coming to the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2016.
There's no specific release date, but the publisher has unveiled several screenshots of the upcoming FPS that depict dual wielding, melee combat, and a bit of shotgun action that leaves holes in the bodies of enemies in four of the game's first screenshots. It's beautiful and bloody.
Interestingly enough, the game is set to feature four-player online co-op as well as a procedurally generated mode for players to experience a good amount of replay value out of the title. There's customizable gear, a leveling system that's kind of like the one in the first game, and more.
It's basically everything I've ever wanted out of a Shadow Warrior sequel.
