Update: We've updated the article to correctly reflect the fact that the game supports 100 player battles.
The modders who created Project Reality for Battlefield 2 have been developing a new game called Squad, and have since put it up on Steam Greenlight.
Today, the game was greenlit, meaning that we'll soon be able to get our hands on the title through Valve's platform whenever it is officially released. Squad was greenlit just one week after being put on the service.
Calling themselves Offworld Industries (not to be confused with Leigh Alexander's new site), the developers are made up of modders who created the acclaimed Project Reality mod for Battlefield 2 some years ago. In their new game, up to 100 (50v50) players can participate in a tactical FPS environment.
We'll report more on the game as it goes further into development.
