The Witcher 3: 4K Screenshots Are Fantastic

April 14, 2015 by Jacob Saylor

The Witcher 3 is beautiful, everyone.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is poised to be one of the biggest game releases in gaming history. CD Projekt RED, developers of the title, have said on multiple occasions that the game will push the envelope in terms of graphical and technical capability. This was actually the reason for the game's recent delay. They want the game to be jaw-droppingly gorgeous. Even if you're not into swords, magic and fantasy, you have to appreciate what CD Projekt RED is doing.

Some new screenshots bearing a resolution of 4K have recently made their way onto the Internet, courtesy of the The Witcher's official Twitter page. We can't post them here without losing some of the display quality, so here are links to each photo:

Image 3: Take that, Joker!

Image 4: Give me a hug!

We can't wait to travel the beautiful expanses of The Witcher 3 when it releases for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on May 19, 2015.
