Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 has no official release date yet, but fans can expect the much-anticipated game to hit the shelves sometime this year.
One critic was recently able to get his hands on a copy of Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 at the Bandai Namco Level Up event and had some details to share. He states, at one point, that one of the game's enemies kept using a quicktime event in battle. If this was not an isolated incident, this raises concerns for the rest of the game:
Madara did seem to have an over-reliance on repeating the same special move that flung me across the arena and forced me to do a QTE, which could get annoying if this is something that happens in every fight, but it could just be the cinematic nature of this one fight in particular. After doing a certain amount of damage to Madara I was able to break his Armour and Weapons, which I assume makes him weaker, but it was all so fast paced I didn’t particularly notice if it did or not, but it felt pretty good.
Of course, while quick time events can be bothersome for many fans, the writer does point out that the gameplay felt "pretty good". This leaves hope that the fighting game is still well on track. Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is expected on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One this upcoming fall.
