Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Confirmed for PS4

December 11, 2014 by Tony Ponce

Will this sequel cover through the end of the manga?

The Ultimate Ninja Storm series is about to make the leap into the current generation. The latest issue of Jump magazine in Japan has confirmed that Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 will arrive in 2015 for PS4. No other platform was specified, so it may be safe to say this won't be a cross-gen game.

If you haven't been following Naruto news lately, the manga finally ended on November 10, and a new film, The Last: Naruto the Movie, which was released last week, continues the story. Depending on how far along you are, the scan above may spoil some of the later events for you — it features the forms Naruto and Sasuke assume during the series' final battle. At the very least, this indicates that UNS4 will cover the remaining events in the manga. If we're lucky, it may also incorporate elements from The Last.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 will be present at next weekend's Jump Festa in Tokyo. No Western localization has been announced yet, but you know it's pretty much going to happen.
