Check Out Golden Youth’s ‘Where’s Your Heart Gone’ in Simlish for The Sims 4

February 11, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

The Sims 4 is getting an injection of indie folk talent.

The indie folk band Golden Youth has put together a video of their popular song Where’s Your Heart Gone for EA’s upcoming The Sims 4 expansion pack, Outdoor Retreat.

The behind-the-scenes video, recorded entirely in Simlish (the fictional gibberish language that characters in The Sims and its sequels speak) shows the band’s recording of the song. The original version of the song can be found in Golden Youth’s The Cabin EP (iTunes) and was released last July.

Outdoor Retreat is the first game pack announced by EA/Maxis and includes a new location called Granite Falls, a host of new objects and clothes, and some gameplay features. Players will be able to camp, make fires, and cook marshmallows, among many other things. There are also bears, because who doesn’t love those big, cuddly giants? Stephen Colbert, that’s who.

The video can be seen below.
