The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D gave the odd impression that OoT had always looked like that, implying that the 3DS "update" was little more than a straight port. A simple screenshot or video comparison quickly put that thought to rest — the new version simply gave form to how we had always pictured the game in our mind.
Majora's Mask 3D is pulling the same trick, making us believe that the N64 classic looked better than it did. We already saw some screenshot comparisons shortly after the game's announcement, but now that the game is in several outlets' hands, we can do video comparions as well. The above footage, with the 3DS capture supplied by YouTuber Nick Robinson and then shared via Nintendo World Report, is a 15-minute demonstration of the remake's colorful new threads.
If you haven't already, please also watch the half-hour footage shared by me the other day. Afterwards, hang tight until The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D's release on February 13.
