You might not immediately recognize the name Tak Fujii, but you've no doubt seen his antics on video. He joined Konami back in 1997 to work on audio and localization, and by 2008 he had become a producer. He gained infamy during E3 2010 when he delivered a presentation for his team's latest game, N3II: Ninety-Nine Nights, which I've embedded above in case you want to relive the "extreme" magic.
Sadly, Fujii has just announced over Twitter that he is leaving Konami:
It's been great 20 years of creation. Thanks for all who supported, loved my titles. Farewell and may the extreeeeemeness be with KONAMI.
He has not shared what he wants to do next, but we can only hope that wherever he goes, he'll be given plenty of opportunities to take to the stage and act as silly as wants to be.
