Bungie’s latest Destiny update comes with two interviews, alongside details on upcoming updates and fixes.
The first interview is with Eris voice actor Morla Gorrondona.who already did work on the game. Funnily enough, she did the wizards’ screams, as well as the screeches of the Thrall. This did give her the prior knowledge of the Hive which helped nab her the role.
In talking about her work, Morla describes Eris as a broken survivor, constantly resisting the pull of insanity from her encounter with Crota. She also has a surprising respect for the Hive, due to their survivability and after being exposed to them so long.
Team Invigorate beat the latest Raid again in record time, and surprisingly, they did not hesitate to share the secrets to their success. Because there is no real secret; they got there through deliberate planning and tighly knit teamwork. If you could get one takeaway from them, it would be the counterintuitive advice not to rush into the raids as they appear. A team needs to earn experience and be familiarized with each other first.
In regards to game content, the Will of Crota Strike is now added to the Nightfall and Heroic rotation. Keep in mind that you need to already have The Dark Below. Old activities will rotate with new ones daily and weekly, with the Iron Banner coming back December 16. The Iron Banner will have no new maps, but they will be featured starting December 23.
