343 Industries is introducing an interesting feature to Halo 5: Guardians. There will be a new spectator mode, and it can be directly used for streaming.
You will be able to live spectate on any match that any of your friends do, and switch between first person and third person freely. Furthermore, 343’s Josh Holmes confirms that you will be able to stream this if you want to, thanks to their partnership with Twitch.
In fact, both Twitch and 343 will aggregate streams from top players, 343 doing so via the Halo Channel app. You will have extensive control of these streams, including rewind and fast forward, and via the channel, you will be able to easily browse through interesting matches.
The beta will allow fans to give it a try sooner than later, but they hope to create extensive controls for the mode.
The Halo 5: Guardians beta, available to fans who bought Halo: The Master Chief Collection, will launch December 29, and is of course exclusive to Xbox One.
