Bioware has outlined the changes on the way for Dragon Age: Inquisition. Basically, additional features and content are taking a backseat to patches.
Patch One should be rolling out today on Windows, PS3, Xbox 360, and PS4, with Xbox One presumably getting a fix not too long after. They are, of course, already working on Patch 2.Patch 2 mostly handles stability, including crashes, freezes, audio glitches, and other issues. However, it will also deal these fixes:
· Gameplay fixes, on conversations, quests, plot states, combat, UI, camera, controls, follower/enemy AI and path finding, exploits, radar, and search.
· PC specific fixes, for UI, controls, hitching, Mantle support, and graphics,
· Multiplayer fixes, for animations, multiplayer mode specific bugs, stat reporting, and crash fixes.
After that second patch, Bioware will continue to work on PC mouse and keyboard controls, and they want to make sure the banter system, which has your party members constantly chatting with you, will be activated for sure and as soon as possible. You can follow this thread for updates on PC keyboard and mouse support.
Without giving anything away, Bioware ends by promising future features and content, including updates to multiplayer. Players will just have to wait a bit for that content to arrive.
