Square Enix, the minds behind popular game franchise Final Fantasy, have a number of projects currently underway. At the forefront of these are Kingdom Hearts 3 and Final Fantasy XV. The fifteenth entry into the Final Fantasy series has gone through what has been a true development hell, but it appears that some more importance has been placed on finishing the game and getting it out the door. All that said, there's nothing wrong with the game getting more polish.
Square Enix recently posted a couple of videos to their Youtube channel. One of them is a technology demo that details some of the game's inner workings. It sheds a huge amount of light on just how much effort goes into developing a game of this caliber. Furthermore, it details the next video Square Enix released. Check it out below:
The other one is quite the monstrous achievement. In an absolutely stunning ten minutes of gameplay, Square Enix shows us what years of preparation combined with next-generation technology is truly capable of. While we can't say for sure just how the game will look until its in our hands, this next video details a game that is extremely beautiful. The open world of Final Fantasy XV is complemented well by the Playstation 4 and Xbox One. We're very excited to see what sort of experience Square Enix brings us when the game releases in what will presumably be sometime next year.
Though, we'll reiterate: the longer this game stays in development, the better experience we will get out of it.
