Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire: There’s a Secret Mission in the Demo

October 28, 2014 by Tony Ponce

Yields no new items, is just for fun.

For those who were able to get their hands on the special demo of Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, how are you enjoying yourself? How many times have you replayed it? If you play through it several times, you might be able to take part in a secret mission.

After several replays, the there is a small chance that main characters Brendan and May will join forces to visit a special island. There are no wild Pokemon here, only Team Magma or Team Aqua (who you battle is random), who are hunting for Mega Pokemon and must be stopped. Once your mission is completed, you can tackle it again by finding Steven Stone and selecting the "Let's Go Somewhere Secret" option. For your efforts, you sadly don't earn any new items — this is purely a fun extra to squeeze more juice out of the demo.

The full Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire games arrive for 3DS on November 21. Remember, you'll be able to purchase a dual pack with both versions should you so desire.
