The Evil Within came out a few days ago to a mostly positive reception. The lack of great horror games in the industry currently makes this title a welcome addition to the eighth-generation library. The Evil Within is a game that prides itself on difficulty and forces players to ration their resources in an attempt to simply make it out alive. If you asked us, we'd say it's vaguely reminiscent of the Dark Souls series in that the art direction feels a bit similar and you're often times just fighting to stay alive. Ammo is scarce, and sometimes it feels like help and walkthroughs are even more so. This is doubly true when you consider that The Evil Within is a new release. With games as scary and unforgiving as these, sometimes it feels as though all hope is lost.
However, Youtuber PowerPyx has been hard at work making different walkthroughs and guides for The Evil Within. We're not sure if PowerPyx even sleeps, but hopefully his hard works pays off for him. You may remember PowerPyx from an earlier post we wrote, where he helped gamers with the achievements and trophies in Destiny.This time, the popular Youtuber is helping gamers navigate the collectible system in Tango Gameworks’ The Evil Within. He's currently got the first three chapters of The Evil Within complete, with more to come.
